Facade & Cladding Restoration Services
Exceptional results from a specialist restorative cleaning team
Our cladding and facade restoration and refurbishment systems are designed specifically for commercial and industrial buildings. We can restore most surfaces including anodised aluminium, stainless steel, polyester powder coated, UPVC/GRP and many more.
We work with a range of commercial clients including architects, fit-out contractors, landlords and tenants, building consultancies, facility managers and facade producers.
As well as providing facade and cladding restoration and refurbishment, we can offer technical support, free site surveys (subject to location), sampling and surface specifications, project scoping and quotes.
All systems and products are laboratory tested and approved by façade producers, meeting European standards.
Specialist facade & cladding restoration products and expertise
Our specialist facade and cladding restoration techniques and products restore and protect facades, returning the facade surface to an ‘as new’ condition.
Our systems are sacrificial based, non-abrasive and neutral PH and carried out in-situ.
Our products remove the dried out polymers, leaving a protective silicon/wax layer, without reducing the micron thickness of the substrates.
Our range of services reduces on-going maintenance, restoration and refurbishment costs, whilst at the same time, enhancing the image of company buildings.
Our operatives undergo comprehensive health and safety training provided by reputable external organisations, with further support and ongoing training provided in-house.
Anodised Aluminium Restoration
Anodised finishes are typically silver, bronze, gold or black and were used in the 1960s to 1970s. Since this time the colour choice has expanded as the anodising process has improved and anodised aluminium cladding is now used on high grade HQ buildings.
Anodised surfaces oxidise with age. The See Brilliance three-stage restoration system removes this oxidisation without removing any substrate layer and instead infuses the surface with preservatives, silicone and waxes that preserve the façade for future years.
Powder Coated Aluminium Restoration
Aluminium is a lightweight construction material that has allowed designers to shape and colour building projects since the 70s. Although aluminium does not rust, air pollutants, environmental exposure and surface contaminants cause aluminium cladding to become discoloured and develop pitting on its surface.
Powder coated surfaces are typically primary colours i.e red, blue, green and yellow. It is a cheaper material to produce than anodised.
Powder coated surfaces chalk with age. The See Brilliance three-stage restoration system removes the chalking without removing any substrate layer and instead infuses the surface with preservatives, silicone and waxes that preserve the restored façade for future years.
Stainless Steel Facade Restoration
Stainless steel is very soft and porous and when it ages the surface can look very dull and light rust patches can develop. However, some high-grade stainless steel finishes have a lacquered coating which prevents this. Unfortunately most stainless steel cladding does not.
Using the See Brilliance three-stage restoration system removes tarnishing and tea-staining from stainless steel facades and cladding without damaging the soft substrate, instead infusing the surface with preservatives, silicone and waxes that preserve the façade for future years.
UPVC/GRP Restoration
When UPVC cladding turns dull, starts to tarnish or black marks appear, these problems are usually caused by exposure to UV light and the environmental conditions around the building facade or structure.
See Brilliance has specialist commercial property restoration techniques and approved chemicals to restore the appearance of UPVC giving a near new look without use of any abrasive products, while protecting against future problems.
